Kinship uses mindfulness, traditional psychotherapeutic methods, and evidence-based therapy in an integrative way, allowing for tailored treatment, rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

Studies show that the single most important factor in predicting successful treatment outcomes is the relationship between therapist and patient. Kinship provides a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental environment for clients to express themselves and feel understood. All of our therapists are trained to a Master's level in Humanistic and Integrative Approach and attend regular supervision in order maintain the highest standard of care.

"Kinship" refers to the kind of relationship that transcends blood and marriage, allowing for people to be connected through choice and circumstance. Every day, whether in work, at home, or with the people we pass on the street, we are presented with the opportunity for connection. By exploring our day-to-day lives and interactions with others, we can being to grow and loosen the grip of our past on future decisions. In this way, personal and professional choices can be made with a clearer head, a stronger sense of optimism, and greater self-efficacy and our relationships can become more meaningful, satisfying, and authentic.

At Kinship, we have experience working with depression, anxiety, stress, workplace performance, relationship challenges, transitions, chronic illness, trauma, sexuality and sexual abuse, finding meaning, and more.
